Thirty-five years of putting the furniture in right.

Commercial Interiors West opened its doors in North Highlands, California in 1990. We started as a small crew of office furniture installers and we've grown, one project at a time, into the installation partner that Northern California's dealers and facilities teams call when a job has to go smoothly.

We run a full-service installation operation: CAD design and planning, receiving and warehousing, delivery, install, reconfiguration, preventative maintenance, and panel and chair cleaning. We support selling dealers who need a reliable installation arm, and we work directly with end-clients who already own their furniture.

Who we've worked with

A partial list: Microsoft, Sutter Health, Bank of America, Bayer, California Highway Patrol, the California Board of Equalization, the State Compensation Insurance Fund, Pacific Bell, Sprint, First Health, Waste Management, United Way, Western Sierra Bank, VPD, Allied, and Unify.

Some of these projects were single floors. Some were whole buildings and multi-year master contracts. Either way, we showed up with the same crew, the same process, and the same standard.

How we work

Most of our lead installers have been with us for 15+ years. A few have been with us since day one. That continuity matters: when a Herman Miller Ethospace installer in our warehouse is the same person who built out your 2003 footprint, reconfiguring it in 2025 becomes a planning problem, not an archaeology problem.
